📋   Instructions
1
Bloom the Gelatin

Pour the cold POG juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin evenly over the surface and let it sit undisturbed for about 5 minutes until it looks wrinkled and slightly puffy.

Blooming hydrates the gelatin before heat is applied — this prevents lumps and ensures your gummies set with an even, consistent texture throughout.
2
Heat and Combine

Turn the stove to low heat. Whisk in the flavored Jello and the lecithin until everything is fully dissolved and the liquid is smooth and glossy.

⚠️ Do Not Boil Excessive heat degrades both the tropical flavor and the cannabinoids in your infusion. Keep it on low — you want a gentle warm liquid, not a simmer.
3
The Infusion

Remove from heat or keep on the lowest setting. Slowly pour your infused MCT oil into the saucepan. Whisk vigorously for 2–3 minutes until the mixture looks completely uniform with no oil droplets floating on the surface.

The test: Tilt the pan — if you see any shimmering oil slick on top, keep whisking. A fully emulsified mixture will look opaque and consistent all the way through.
💡 The Lecithin Advantage This is where the lecithin earns its place. It locks the MCT oil into the juice so each gummy gets the same dose, not just the ones poured last.
4
Mold and Set

Work quickly — the mixture will start to thicken as it cools. Use a dropper or squeeze bottle to fill your gummy molds. Starfish or leaf shapes fit the TRM brand beautifully.

Place the filled molds in the refrigerator for at least 30–60 minutes until fully set.

💡 Speed Tip Place the saucepan in an ice bath for 60 seconds before filling the molds — it thickens the mixture slightly so it sits in the molds cleanly instead of spreading.
🫙   Storage & Stewardship
💨 Curing — The Chew Upgrade

For a better, more satisfying chew, pop the gummies out of the molds and let them air-dry on a rack for 24 hours. They firm up and develop a classic gummy texture instead of a soft jello-cube feel.

❄️ Refrigerate

Store in an airtight container in the fridge. POG gummies stay fresh for 1–2 weeks refrigerated. Freeze in a single layer for longer storage — up to 3 months.

🏷️ Labeling

Use your Kānehiwa labels to clearly mark the batch date, strain used, and estimated mg per gummy. Keep infused products clearly identified and out of reach of children and pets.

Date Prepared

Total Oil in Batch  tsp
Total Pieces Yielded

⚠️ Keep clearly labeled — store away from children and pets!

  • Start with one piece and wait 60–90 minutes before considering another.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
  • Try to pour molds to a consistent fill level — uneven pieces mean uneven doses.
  • Use a green rubber band on the container as a universal "infused" at-a-glance signal.
  • Use our Dosage Calculator to fill in the Est. Dose per Piece field.
How to Calculate Your Dose per Piece
Step 1 — Total potency: (Total tsp of oil) × (mg per tsp of your oil)
  Example: 2 tsp × 10 mg/tsp = 20 mg total

Step 2 — Per piece: (Total mg) ÷ (Number of pieces)
  Example: 20 mg ÷ 20 pieces = 1 mg per gummy

For adults 21+ only. Edibles affect everyone differently. Start with a low dose and wait at least 60–90 minutes before consuming more. Keep infused products clearly labeled and out of reach of children and pets. This recipe is intended for legal use in compliance with your local laws.
